एक विषाणू असाही...

'आयुषाची वाट चालवताना
एक विषाणू आला अन
नकळत का होईना
जीवन-मृत्यूच्या तांडवात
माणुसकीचा धडाच त्याने शिकवला 

आयुष्याची गणित सोडविताना माणसाला माणसासाठी वेळच नव्हता. माणुसकीची जागा तर भ्रष्टाचाराने केव्हांच घेतली होती. जिकडे तिकडे ओझोन वायूच्या कमतरतेने पर्यावरणाचे धडे गिरवले जात होते. पोटापाण्यासाठी नव्हे तर, स्वार्थासाठी दुसऱ्याला ठरविण्यासाठी माणूस हा माणूस म्हणून जगात होता. कळत नव्हते त्याचेच त्याला भष्ट्राचाराच्या आंधळेपणात तो कधीच बुडून गेला होता. नुसता सगळीकडे भष्ट्राचाराचा उद्रेकच नव्हे तर स्त्रियांवरचे अन्याय, अत्याचार, मारहाणी, प्रभूषण, लूटमार आपसूकच या गोष्टी घडतच होत्या आणि घडतच आहेत. माणसातल्या माणसाची जागा राक्षसीपणाने कधीच घेतली होती. उर्वरित प्रश्न एवढाच होता की, 'कधी होणार रे माणूस माणसा'!

पण याच उत्तरच देण्यासाठी काय पृथ्वीवर एका 'करोना' नावाच्या डोळ्यांनीही न दिसणाऱ्या एका विषाणूचा जन्म झाला. त्याचा उद्रेक जगामद्ये सगळीकडे हळू हळू पसरू लागला आणि त्याचवेळी जीवन मरणाच्या भोवऱ्यात माणूस स्वतःचे अस्तित्व शोधू लागला. खरे जगणे त्याला कळू लागले. आपल्याबरोबरच तो दुसऱ्यांचीही काळजी घेऊ लागला. स्वतःच्या इतरांच्या स्वच्छतेकडे लक्ष देऊ लागला. स्वतःचे अस्तित्व टिकविण्यासाठी श्रीमंतपणाची जीवनशैली पांघरणारा माणूस जीव जगविण्याची जीवनशैली आत्मसात करू लागला. त्याला पैशापेक्षा महत्वाचा वाटलं तो स्वतःचा आणि स्वकीयांचा जीव.

ओघानेच आलेले लॉकडाऊन हि त्याने स्वीकारले. मिळणारा अर्धा पगार आणि बाकी राहिलेली शिल्लक यांवर त्याने स्वतःची गणितेसुद्धा आखली. एवढेच नव्हे तर पर्यावरण शुद्ध झालेच, त्याचबरोबर माणुसकीचे ज्ञान सुद्धा त्याला गवसले. कुठेतरी जग, जगाचा व्यवहार ही थांबला कदाचित, ती धरणीमातेला मिळालेली 'विश्रांतीच' होती म्हणा. अजूनही लस अस्तित्वात आलेली नाही. पण योग्य तो परी माणूस स्वतःची काळजी घेऊन स्वतःचे अस्तित्व टिकविण्यासाठी स्वतःमधील माणुसकी जिवंत ठेऊन नक्कीच माणूस म्हणून माणूस जगताना दिसत आहे.

एक दिवस हि 'करोना' नावाची साथ संपेलही पण हा न दिसणारा अन माणुसकीची पाऊलवाट दाखविणारा हा विषाणू, त्याने शिकविलेले जीव जगण्याची धडपड माणसांच्या मनात खोलवर रुजून गेलेली नक्कीच दिसेल.

Even a virus ... 

'While waiting for AYUSHA
There was a virus
I don't know why
In the ordeal of life and death
He taught the lesson of humanity

There was no time for man to solve the mathematics of life. Humanity has been replaced by corruption. Environmental lessons were being learned from the shortage of ozone gas everywhere. Man was in the world as a man, not for food, but for selfishness. Little did he know that he had never drowned in the blindness of corruption. Not only is there an outbreak of corruption everywhere, but injustice, atrocities, beatings, extortion, and looting of women were and are happening spontaneously. Demons had never taken the place of man in man. The only question left was, 'When will you become a man?'

But to give the same answer, a virus called 'corona' was born on the earth which is not even visible to the naked eye. Its outbreak slowly spread throughout the world, and at the same time, man began to find his own existence in the whirlpool of life and death. He began to know the truth. He began to take care of others as well as himself. He began to pay attention to the cleanliness of others. The man who lived a life of affluence in order to survive, began to adopt a way of life. He considered his life and the lives of his family more important than money.

He also accepted the lockdown that came with Oghan. He also calculated his own salary and the balance he had left. Not only did the environment become pure, but he also acquired the knowledge of humanity. Somewhere in the world, the business of the world may have stopped, say, it was the 'rest' that Mother Earth got.

The vaccine still does not exist. But the right fairy man is seen living as a human being by taking care of himself and keeping his humanity alive in order to survive.
One day, the so-called 'corona' will come to an end, but this invisible virus, which shows the path of inhumanity, will surely show that the struggle to survive the life taught by it is deeply ingrained in the minds of the people.
