मुंबईत आज मुसळधार पावसाची शक्यता
मुंबई, दि. १४ ऑगस्ट, २०२०: मुंबई आणि परिसरात काल किरकोळ ते मध्यम स्वरूपाच्या पावसाने हजेरी लावली होती. दरम्यान आज कोकण किनारपट्टीवर काही ठिकाणी अतिमुसळधार तर मुंबई आणि परिसरात मुसळधार पावसाची शक्यता हवामान विभागाने वर्तवली आहे. त्यामुळे नागरिकांनी काळजी घेण्याचे आवाहन महानगरपालिकेने केले आहे. विनाकारण घराबाहेर पडू नका असा सल्लाही देण्यात आला आहे.

Heavy rain expected in Mumbai today
Mumbai, dt. August 14, 2020: Mumbai and surrounding areas received light to moderate rains yesterday. Meanwhile, the meteorological department has forecast torrential rains in some places along the Konkan coast and in Mumbai and surrounding areas. Therefore, the corporation has appealed to the citizens to take care. It is also advised not to leave the house unnecessarily.
Heavy rains (65 to 115 mm) were recorded at several places in Mumbai area in 24 hours. However, the intensity of rain decreased during the day. Western Suburbs, Thane, Dombivali-Kalyan, Mira-Bhayander received 10 to 20 mm, Navi Mumbai 5 to 10 mm and South Mumbai only 5 mm. The meteorological department has forecast torrential rains in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Nandurbar and Nashik districts. In Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts, in some places, in Pune, Satara and Kolhapur districts, torrential to very heavy rains are expected at the head of the ghat, the meteorological department said.
