करोना लॉकडाऊन काळातील शिक्षण

अनेक वर्षानंतर भारतातच नाही तर संपूर्ण जगात करोना विषाणुची (रोगाची) महामारी आली आहे. औद्योगिक, सांस्कृतिक, शैक्षणिक, राजकीय या संपूर्ण क्षेत्रामध्ये विविध प्रकारच्या उलाढाली चालू आहेत. अनेक समस्यांना सामोरे जावे लागत आहे. संपूर्ण जग यामुळे दहा वर्षें मागे पडल्यासारखे झाले आहे. पण म्हणतात ना, 'जे होतं ते चांगल्यासाठी' या उक्तीप्रमाणे शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रामध्ये मात्र वीस वर्षांनंतरची परिस्थिती आत्ताच दाखवली गेली. पूर्व परंपरागत अध्ययन-अध्यापन पद्धती बंद होऊन ऑनलाइन अभ्यास चालू झाला आहे. 'शाळा बंद पण शिक्षण चालू' या तंत्राचा वापर करून विद्यार्थी व शिक्षक आपापल्या घरी बसून अध्ययन अध्यापनाचे काम करत आहेत. 

करोना या संकटाच्या परिस्थितीवर मात करत, शिक्षकांनी त्याचे सुवर्णसंधीमध्ये रूपांतर केले आहे. शिक्षकांनी तंत्रज्ञान आत्मसात करून त्याचा वापर शिक्षणासाठी केलेला आहे. व्हिडिओ बनवणे, पीपीटी बनवणे, पीडीएफ बनवणे विद्यार्थ्यांची संकल्पना स्पष्ट करण्यासाठी तंत्रज्ञानाचा जेवढा वापर करता येईल तेवढा वापर या शिक्षकांनी केलेला आहे. या कार्यामध्ये विशेषतः ५० वर्षांवरील शिक्षक कार्यरत आहेत. त्यांचे विशेष कौतुक केले पाहिजे. शेवटी 'हाडाचा शिक्षक' आपण म्हणतो ते त्यांच्या कार्यातून दिसून येते.

मी सुद्धा शिक्षण क्षेत्रात असल्यामुळे लाॅकडाऊनच्या काळामध्ये काव्यलेखन, हस्ताक्षर स्पर्धेचे आयोजन केले होते. विद्यार्थ्यांनी भरभरून प्रतिसाद दिला. त्याचबरोबर आम्ही तंत्रस्नेही शिक्षकच व इतर समूहांनी आयोजित केलेल्या सा.ज्ञान, दिनविशेष अशा विविध online स्पर्धेत सहभागी होण्यासाठी प्रोत्साहन दिले. ब-याच विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय क्रमांकाचे पारितोषिक मिळाले आहे. या काळात तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर करून पाठ निहाय व्हिडिओ निर्मिती केली आहे. तसेच Google form द्वारे प्रश्नचाचणी निर्माण करून विद्यार्थ्यांना शिकविलेला भाग कितपत समजला यांची पडताळणी केली. Google form द्वारे प्रश्नचाचणी निर्मिती व व्हिडिओ निर्मिती या कार्यशाळा आयोजित केल्या. कुमारभारती समूह (मुंबई जिल्हा) यांनी शिक्षक, पालक व विद्यार्थी यांच्यासाठी सर्व शिक्षकांच्या सहकार्याने एका क्लिकवर मराठीचे पुस्तक स्पष्टीकरणासह उपलब्ध करून दिले आहे. सर्वांना याचा नक्कीच उपयोग होईल. 

आपल्याला पुढील वर्षाचा अनुभव आत्ताच मिळाला असला तरी 'एका नाण्याच्या दोन बाजू असतात' तसेच या ऑनलाइन शिक्षणाचे फायदे आहेत. तसेच तोटे देखील आहेत. ते कसे?

तर शिक्षक आणि विद्यार्थी यांचे नाते हे वर्णनाच्या पलिकडील आहे. शिक्षक कितीही वयाने मोठे झाले तरी ते विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये गेल्यानंतर बालपणात रमतात. या काळात शाळा बंद त्यामुळे सर्वांना शाळेची खूप आठवण येत आहे. विद्यार्थी दिसत नाहीत. शाळेची घंटा ऐकायला येत नाही. शाळेतील बाके जणूकाही आपली आतुरतेने वाट पाहत आहेत, असे जाणवते. फळा आणि खडू यांचा हाताला झालेला स्पर्श तो आठवत आहे, शाळेत होणारा किलबिलाट चिवचिवाट ऐकायला मिळत नाही. मुलांनी घातलेला गराडा, मधल्या सुट्टीत होणारी जेवणाची देवाणघेवाण नाही. कोणताही दिनविशेष असो कोणताही कार्यक्रम असो शाळेमध्ये आपल्या घरात कार्यक्रम असल्यासारखी जी लगबग असते ती नाही. या तंत्रज्ञानाच्या साहाय्याने घेतलेली शाळा निर्जीव असल्यासारखी वाटते.

Online शाळेत सुरूवातीला खूपच मजा आली. परंतु नव्याचे नऊ दिवस म्हणतात ना, त्या उक्तीप्रमाणे नंतर काळजीचे, चिंतेचे वातावरण होऊ लागले. कसे? असे तुमच्या मनात आले असेल. Online शिक्षण सुरू झाले, खरे पण समोर अनेक अडचणी संपता संपत नाहीत. एकच मोबाइल घरात दोन- तीन भावंडे, आई-वडिल कामाला- घरात फोन नाही. फोन आहेत- रेंज नाही, फोन आहेत- नेटवर्क अडचण तसेच नेटपॅक भरायला पैसे नाहीत. खायलाच पैसे नाहीत तर नेट कोठून आणणार? म्हणजेच online शिक्षण प्रवाहात फक्त २५% विद्यार्थीच आहेत. बाकीच्यांचे काय?

ज्यांच्याकडे सोई सुविधा उपलब्ध असलेल्या मुलाने online शिक्षणाच्या नावाखाली बॅंकेतील पैसे उडवले, तरी दुसरीकडे बहिणीच्या शिक्षणासाठी डोंगर भागात नेट शोधून स्वतःचा मोबाइल देऊन शिक्षणाला मदत केली. अशा अनेक बातम्या आपण ऐकत आहोत.

He also created a quiz through Google form to verify how much the students understood the part taught. Conducted quiz creation and video creation workshops through Google form. Everyone will definitely benefit from this.

Even if you just got next year's experience, there are 'two sides to the same coin' as well as the benefits of this online education. There are also disadvantages. How is that?

So the teacher-student relationship is beyond description. No matter how old the teacher gets, he plays in childhood as he goes among the students.
